	Dorothy and her husband, and two of their friends died in the Klamath Flood, 21 December 1955. Dorothy's body and that of her friend Beatrice Bartell were found on the Pala Beach near Crescent City per newspaper article. They may have died in Humboldt County, as did Glenn, but official records state Del Norte County as their place of death.
