Funeral services for William Walker Joslin were held Friday afternoon, Oct. 7, at the Horine Culver Funeral Home on North Main Street. From 1 to 3 o'clock friends called at the home to view the body. At 3 o'clock, Rev. Chas Vanzandt of Exeter officiated at the services for the family. Burial was made in the Oak Hill cemetery. The casket was covered with many sprays of beautiful flowers. One of the sprays was a tribute from the Cassville Lumber Co., and another by the businessmen of Cassville.

For years Mr. Joslin had been a carpenter here. He was a skilled workman and always strictly upright and honorable in all his dealings. He was a son of James and Hannah (Dunlap) Joslin. He was born Dec. 15, 1871. His father died when he was a very small boy. He grew to manhood in the Horner community southeast of Cassville. Mr. Joslin was married to Miss Rosa Morton, a daughter of John L. Morton, widely known mill-wright of this county. Since his marriage most of his life had been spent in Cassville. Mrs. Joslin passed away a number of years ago. Surviving are his only son, Geo. Joslin and two grand-children.
